Protests in Iran continued on Saturday with the students of Amir Kabir and Al Zahra Universities chanting against Islamic Republic leadership.
A significant number of students of Amir Kabir University gathered to protest against the attack of regime forces on Sharif University of Technology and the killing of other protesters by security forces. They chanted against the Iranian government and its leadership.
The students of Al-Zahra University also gathered on Saturday to support the street protests that erupted after the death of Mahsa Amini. Al-Zahra students removed their headscarves on campus and chanted slogans against mandatory hijab and the Islamic Republic leadership. On the same day, Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi spoke at a scheduled event at Al-Zahra University.
Videos circulating on social media also show a large number of protesters around Lalezar street chanting against the Islamic Republic. In a couple of videos that have surfaced, anti-riot officers are seen walking alongside protesters.
